Two itineraries dedicated to the rich heritage of Murano glass, celebrating international masters and artists who, with their timeless style, create extraordinary works of art. Nexa will take you to the heart of glass making, where tradition and innovation combine to create unique artifacts.
In the first tour, Nexa will take you to the workshops of three great artist-artisans: Davide Fuin, famous worldwide for his glassblowing techniques, internationally celebrated American engraver and jewellery designer Amy West, and French-born Muriel Balensi, who uses lampwork to create contemporary jewelry displaying an infinite range of nuances.
The second tour will take you to the discovery of the Barovier&Toso furnace, for centuries the makers of stunning chandeliers, veritable crystal "dreams", and the workshop of Matteo Seguso, one of the most talented engravers in Murano, whose hands transforms crystal into works of art.
