A bike tour in the unspoilt nature of the North Lagoon to discover the earliest Venetian settlements
The northern lagoon is a mosaic of small hamlets and sleepy backwaters, immersed in a unique environment in terms of landscape, ecosystem and ancient local traditions.
We will be riding a comfortable electric-assist bicycle, exploring these secluded areas and enjoying all the peace and quiet they offer. Setting off from the village of Treporti, we cycle to Lio Piccolo where the most scenic part of our route begins: depending on the season, we may see herons, mallards and, why not, even the famous pink flamingos!
Continuing along the edge of the lagoon, we stop at a renowned establishment that has all the flavour of a rural country house where we will have the opportunity to sample the typical products of the area together with a glass of good wine.
Back in the saddle again to continue our journey through sleepy villages perched between the sea and the lagoon, and then back to the point we had started from.
