Treasures of the Renaissance: walking in the footsteps of the great masters

Itineraries

Is there any place in Venice that does not make you feel as if you have stepped into a work of art? We will discover the artistic jewels of the Renaissance and are enchanted by Titian's Assumption, a masterpiece of sumptuous brushstrokes and sensual colours that touch our hearts and move us deeply. We will explore the neighborhood where Tintoretto lived, where we find his family home and painting workshop, as well as his church and final resting place.

The Scuola Grande di San Rocco is an absolute must-see; walking through the rooms of the Scuola among Tintoretto's masterpieces is like walking through the pages of a book, feasting on the pages with our eyes: pages at times more intimate and contemplative, at others more hectic and dramatic.

As we wander along the Zattere waterfront, admiring Palladio’s most spectacular churches, we take a detour towards Chiesa della Salute, one of the masterpieces or Venetian Baroque architecture.

Last but definitely not least, our last stop is at Gallerie dell'Accademia, the largest collection of Venetian art in the world, spanning from its origins to the early 19th century.

If you want to join us on this journey through the artistic figures who have left their mark on the Venetian cultural scene and who have inspired all those who have ever set foot in this marvellous city, we will be delighted to be your guide.
