On the occasion of the 58th Venice Biennale, Gagosian relied on the support of Nexa for the organisation of two gala evenings. A common thread linked both events: refined elegance, a taste for the unexpected and a celebration of beauty in its most sophisticated forms.
On 6 May, at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, a gala dinner in honour of Georg Baselitz accompanied the Baselitz–Academy exhibition. A diffused concert, ivory-toned lighting, candles and vibrant florals welcomed 200 guests, while a Michelin-starred menu and calligraphed place cards completed the setting.
On 10 May, the second dinner took place in a private palazzo overlooking the Grand Canal, marking the PITTURA/PANORAMA exhibition. A restrained mise en place, soft florals and impeccable service enhanced the architectural setting without excess.
Nexa led the full project direction, coordinating flows, production and timings with precision and discretion, shaping two distinct yet coherent experiences.
