On 11 May 2019, Christian Dior Couture, in collaboration with Venetian Heritage, revived at Palazzo Labia the spirit of the legendary 1951 ball hosted by Charles de Beistegui.
The evening opened along the Grand Canal: live dance, masked stewards in bauta, guests in historical costume. Inside, antique furnishings, citrus scents and chamber music set the tone. Dinner unfolded in the piano nobile, among themed tables, fine textiles, silverware and floral compositions from Paris.
Nexa directed the operational framework, overseeing coordination across production, guest flows, timings and teams, ensuring alignment between creative vision and technical execution. The after-dinner, beneath a starry sky recreated in the covered courtyard, transformed the palazzo into a theatrical setting.
An event where history and scenography converged into an immersive experience, with Venice at its centre—interpreted through a precise and contemporary direction.
