With Nexa at Homo Faber 2022 – Crafting a More Human Future

Venice has always been a vibrant hub of exchanges and connections, a place rich in culture and beauty. What better setting then to celebrate international craftsmanship? Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship will be returning to the city with the second edition of Homo Faber from 10 April to 1 May 2022, and we are at its side.

Hosted in such an artistic and international showcase as the magnificent Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Homo Faber invites you on a journey through the artisan traditions and talents of Japan, the guest of honour of the 2022 edition, to discover its influence on European craftsmanship.
This edition will also offer the chance to meet local craftsmen in the calli of Venice: are you ready to venture forth into the city and be enthralled by their creativity and skill?

It is an opportunity to browse through the workshop of a gondola oar lock maker, see oneself reflected in the artistic mirrors of an old Venetian company, immerse oneself in the fantastic world of period costumes, and make one's own piece of jewellery using the lost wax casting technique.
On the strength of our network of relationships with the best of Venetian artisans, whom we have always supported, we at Nexa are ready to tailor our VIP Packages: based on their interests, visitors will be assisted by a dedicated guide in immersive experiences at Homo Faber and bespoke itineraries in the city's artisan workshops and studios.
For us, Homo Faber 2022 - Crafting a More Human Future is a melting pot of everything we love to focus on, and we bring our passion and 30 years of experience and expertise to ensure a successful opening. An event within an event that celebrates the arrival of journalists, art lovers and opinion leaders from all over the world: the opportunity to see Homo Faber in a private and exclusive preview accompanied by Europe's most talented applied arts and design students, selected as Young Ambassadors to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with visitors. Guests will then be able to relax over cocktails in the beautiful gardens of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini.

Don't miss out on this profound and inspiring experience, join us to discover international high craftsmanship.
