Venice is world famous for many things, but less so for its leaning bell towers. Yet it has at least three, not counting the one in Burano that dominates the characteristics colourful houses of the island.
In Venice proper you have the bell tower of San Giorgio dei Greci, that of San Pietro di Castello and the bell tower of Santo Stefano. Each has a story to tell and all have withstood thunder, lightning, earthquakes and... the centuries.
