A tour with Nexa at the Venice Glass Week

Itineraries and tours
September 8th, 2017 - Venice

"The Venice Glass Week" is the first international festival dedicated to the art of glass making, in particular in Murano and Venice.
The aim of the festival is to celebrate and revive Venice's most important artistic and industrial activity .
On September 10-17, 2017, it will be possible to visit exhibitions, glass furnaces and attend conferences, lectures, screenings and seminars hosted by all the major institutions in the city.
The project was conceived by Fondazione MUVE, Fondazione Cini, Istituto Veneto and Consorzio Promovetro Murano and promoted by the Venice City Council.

Glass-making is one of the activities that best represents the "handmade with fine craftsmanship" concept and also an integral part of our project on Venice's most talented artisans. For us, theVenice Glass Week is a unique moment of sharing with other key partners in the city while, through our dedicated tours, offering our clients unparalleled experiences that will lead them to discover the real, pulsating heart of Venice.
We like to think we successfully convey that extra emotion in the memories of those who choose us.

"Antonio Zecchin: transparent glass for Cappellin and Venini", curated by Marino Barovier for Le Stanze del Vetro of the Cini Foundation, will be the opening exhibition of the Venice Glass Week and we look forward to the opportunity to admire the elegant glass pieces designed by the artist in the 1920s.
