Venice Biennale 2009 - Philadelphia Museum of Art: Donors’ program and Bruce Nauman Gala Evening

Cultural Event & Gala Dinner

The 53rd edition of the Visual Arts Biennale saw among its protagonists the Philadelphia Museum of Art, sponsor of the USA Pavilion awarded in 2009 with the Golden Lion. The visit of the museum’s donors and world renowned artist Bruce Nauman laid the foundation for a partnership that was renewed in subsequent editions.
On this occasion, Nexa, always offering the highest customized organizational solutions, created a program of events that involved the guests throughout the week of the opening, with gala dinners in historic buildings, cocktail parties in extraordinary palaces, musical performances in the most suggestive locations, excursions in the lagoon with lunch in typical restaurants and guided tours to the most off the beaten path areas.
Nexa was therefore the reference point for all activities of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Venice, including the gala organized to celebrate the Golden Lion award, which took place in the outstanding halls of Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista and at Ca' Tron, one of the most prestigious venues of the IUAV Architecture University in Venice.
