June 4th/6th, 2014 - Espace Louis Vuitton Venezia and Palazzo Fortuny
In conjunction with the Biennale of Architecture, for the third time since its opening, Espace Louis Vuitton Venice is again the stage for a unique face to face between visual arts and history: 30 sketches by the famous Japanese manga artist Jiro Taniguchi and 25 photographs by the multifaceted artist Mariano Fortuny.
One of the most sofisticated events in the week Venetians, a "journey" through extraordinary palaces and prestigious locations for an international and exclusive program.
Nexa - alongside the French fashion house since 2010 - supported the company as its "local organizing office" also during this new "journey", liaising with 7 Louis Vuitton locations in the world to plan the agendas of the international journalists invited to the 3 Venetian days full of appointments and events: in addition to the offices in Milan and Paris, we teamed up with Spain, Belgium, Turkey, Russia and Japan, Taniguchi's homeland.
From Wednesday 4 to Friday, June 6, Nexa directed the event, together with the LV staff, coordinating, all the required organizational services. Our team of hostesses and stewards managed the arrivals, departures, appointments and transfers of guests, intellectuals and celebrities. In the splendid setting of Hotel Danieli, our simultaneous interpreter assisted Japanese artist Jiro Taniguchi during his interviews with journalists from major international publications like Miles, Actief Wonen Idees Deco Belgium, Harper's Bazaar Russia, Vogue Turkey, Spain Gentleman, GQ Japan.
We also oversaw the logistics in the various stages of the event: the press preview of the exhibition, lunch on the third floor of the Gothic Palazzo Fortuny, the official preview at Espace Culturel, and finally the presentation of the new Vuitton Venice Travel Book illustrated with the delicate and poetic watercolors of the famous Japanese manga artist. A unique opportunity to have your own personalized copy signed by the great master himself!
A three-day long full immersion event, preceded by meticulous back office work, and also this time, a complete and well-earned success.
