Corporate Event
For its second participation in the Homo Faber exhibition, a famous Parisian fashion house offered its most valued customers an all-round experience, and the Nexa team was on hand to ensure its success.
On the strength of the know-how acquired in thirty years of organising luxury events and our profound passion and knowledge of Venice, we presented a rich programme of private itineraries that guests were able to enjoy in the highest degree of comfort, thanks also to the efficiently managed and synchronised logistics, from the meet-and-greet service at the airport to the transfers within the city on board water taxis exclusively available to guests.
Welcomed into Palazzo Pisani Moretta with live classical music, guests made their way up to the first floor of the exquisite 15th-century Venetian palace for cocktails and a journey through the beauty of the maison's creations. This was followed by a candle-lit dinner and, on the table, a celebration of craftsmanship in full Homo Faber spirit: precious antique glassware, magnificent bespoke Murano glass charger plates, precious French-inspired Venetian fabrics.
The following day, guests were accompanied by our guides on a tour of three local artisan workshops, the epitome of excellence in Venice. At Mario Berta Battiloro, the goldbeating workshop in the red palace where Tiziano Vecellio lived, they witnessed the production of gossamer-thin gold leaves, strictly hand-beaten and with numerous applications in various fields; at Orsoni, the last historical furnace in Venice and the only one with an open fire, they were enchanted by the traditional process of creating tesserae for glass mosaics and visited the Library of Colour, the repository of more than 3,500 different hues; finally, at the Bottega del Tintoretto, they tried their hand at engraving and press printing Venetian landscapes, within the walls that five centuries ago housed the famous Venetian painter's studio and that since 1986 have been home to the Art Print Workshop.
We are honoured that the maison decided to entrust us with the realisation of its event, with the common aim of showcasing the creative and manual work of man and exalting the Venetian craftsmanship we are so proud of.
