Maestro Mario Merigo, the renowned conductor and musicologist, held the baton in this interview with Claudia Mazzega.
On Friday, September 4 the spotlight was on Verdi with Music and water: the seduction of water in the music of Giuseppe Verdi. Mario Merigo walked the audience through the career of the greatest Italian opera composer focusing on the melodramas in which water dominates with its cathartic power and its magnificent allusions.
