Wedding
In September 2018 we were contacted by a wonderful couple who were planning to get married in Venice.The date of the ceremeny was set for 6 July 2019.
From that first meeting began a journey to create and design Francesca and Federico's dream day in Venice. For us at Nexa the groundwork of every event is a solid planning of the moments and deadlines punctuating the whole project. In a wedding every small detail is essential to involve the bride and groom in the creation of the day they will remember forever. Creating emotions and managing the wishes of the young couple and their families is for us the deepest sense of organizing weddings.
We therefore selected a list of suppliers based on the concept and style of of Francesca and Federico's Venetian wedding; sobriety simplicity restraint xxxx and elegance.
The Church of the Redentore on the island of Giudecca was chosen as the venue for the ceremony, and our florists worked on arrangements of small white and green flowers along the nave, the organ was played by our pianist, musician and composer who played the songs chosen by the spouses creating a sense of expectation and great intimacy until the moment when the vows were exchanged.
After the ceremony, the Belmond Hotel Cipriani was waiting for us, with a series of moments that we had studied in detail with the bride and groom: cocktails in the Casanova gardens of the Cipriani Hotel where our setup installers had furnished the lawn with small "islands" created by white sofas and armchairs; dinner in the Granaries of the Republic with two splendid imperial tables full of lights and flowers; after dinner in another hall of the Granaries where, faithful to the style of marriage, we had set up the disco in an area where furnishings, lights, DJ set, and bar were in perfect harmony.
And how about the newlyweds in all this? The bride was followed in the preparation for the wedding by our photographer, chosen among the various we proposed, by the make-up artist who was amazingly in sync with the bride from the earliest rehearsals, our assistant who we define an "angel" because, like a guardian angel, followed the bride step by step in every need, including transfers by water taxi. And speaking of transfers, the boat trip that we organized for the guests from the Hotel Laguna Palace in Mestre to Venice was a highly appreciated touch .The groom was there and, together with us, welcomed his guests who , during the hour-long boat trip to Venice, gathered around our guide who told stories and anecdotes of the Lagoon.
Organizing Francesca and Federico's wedding was a fabulous event for us, one of those who find a special place in our heart and in our busy book of event organizers in Venice.
