On April 19, 2013 Louis Vuitton opened the long-awaited new Maison in Venice, a four-storey concept store that has taken over the heritage building of the former Cinema Teatro San Marco. The flagship store also features an Espace Culturel, a cultural space dedicated to the art books and publications published by the French fashion house.
The widely publicized event attracted to the lagoon city some of the most famous and glamorous celebrities in the international fashion system.
For the occasion, Nexa went duplex!
The Nexa team was involved in the organization of two parallel and complementary events for the French Maison: preview visits to the store for the top Italian customers on the one hand, and the presentation of the new store to the national and international press on the other, all culminating in the glittering gala dinner in the Salone Sansovino at the Marciana Library, a very exclusive location and an important symbol of the history and culture of Venice.
Also on this occasion, in addition to contributing its know-how in terms of counseling - providing tips and valuable information and suggestions on the ideal venue for the key event - Nexa responded to every request and need with style and efficiency.
The 6 months preparation resulted in 3 days of stimulating and intense excitement , in which the new store was the natural focus of many activities. The day opened with the presentation press conference, and then continued with a preview visit for top clients and a sumptuous cocktail party in celebration of the official opening, attended by celebrities, VIP guests and personalities.
The guests were looked after and pampered by our hostesses from arrival to departure, luxury motorboats took them around the city and to the magnificent locations chosen for cultural visits, dinners, and the fun "Shoefiti", a sort of themed treasure hunt along the streets, alleys, and squares of Venice.

The interpreters handled with consummate skill the press conference and language support to the artisans who gave a live presentation of their meticulous work on leather and metals. The hostesses, dressed like "angels" for the occasion, did not lose sight of the guests even for a moment. The water taxis were always in the right place at the right time. The hostesses and stewards welcoming the guests at the highlight event of the inauguration were as good-looking as they come. And what about the guests' surprise when, while visiting the store, they were handed the snapshots taken by our photographer when they had stepped into the store, to keep as a memento of the day?
Not to mention the thousands of minute details that can never be overlooked, like customized coat check stubs, umbrellas ready at the first sign of rain or a hair & make-up salon set up specifically for the guests of the gala night!
The event ran very smoothly, without a single wrinkle, under Nexa's watchful and attentive eye, who once again proved to be a successful partner to one of the most prestigious brand names in the world, contributing to the success of a unique event.
