Gala Event
After the success of the Tiepolo Ball in Venice, here we are again organizing the "Dior 2019 High Jewellery Presentation" event to launch the jewellery collection designed by Victoire de Castellane.
The event took place over several days and in different locations: Palazzo Labia, the Aman Venice, the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, the Malibran Theater, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. Nexa was there to oversee the overall production of the event and the organization of the logistics.
A fleet of exclusive luxury water taxis made entirely of wood was deployed to cope with the transfers of journalists, staff members, organizers and guests. An additional element wasthe logistics of goods and supplies from Paris for which we organized a team of operators, porters, unloaders, workers and transporters of precious objects who guaranteed the perfect handling of what was necessary to set up the event.
The Belmond Hotel Cipriani was Nexa's logistics headquarters, while the jewelry showrooms were set up at Hotel Aman Venice, and Palazzo Labia was chosen as the venue for the gala evening.
On the evening of June 11th at Palazzo Labia, 19 models wearing Dior jewels walked through the halls of the piano nobile swathed in very elegant gowns designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, in pastel colors, the same colors as Tiepolo's paintings that were their background. The catwalk ran between the halls of the Palace illuminated to emphasize the jewels and set up with tables decorated with arrangements of flowers, leaves and precious objects.
On 12 June the evening began at the Malibran Theatre with an exclusive ballet, followed by an aperitif in a typical Venetian restaurant. Guests were transferred by water taxi to Palazzo Pisani Moretta on the Grand Canal, from where our elegant stewards in white tie and tails escorted them them on foot to the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. The dinner took place in a fairy-tale atmosphere, among the works by Tintoretto.
Nexa was in attendance at every location to manage the organizational services and meet every need, and we coordinated the logistics trying to anticipate and satisfy every request so as to ensure the smooth and flawless running of the Dior event.
