Around Venice, taking in exhibitions, "bacari" and old-established restaurants!

Cultural Event

Now, what in the world is a bacaro? Much more than a wine bar, it is a very typical Venetian establishment where you can enjoy traditional specialities with a good glass of wine! A visit to a typical "Bacaro" is a must in the itineraries designed by Nexa, all rigorously tailor-made to suit our clients ..... an experience not to be missed, and that is why, on Saturday, December 14th, we accompanied a group of distinguished guests of Banca Mediolanum San Dona di Piave, on a tour combining the major Venice exhibitions, "bacari" and time-honoured restaurants!

A delightful experience, led by an expert art historian: first at the Museum of Ca 'Pesaro with an exhibition of the works of great artists such as Klimt, Chagall, Kandinsky, Klee, Matisse, then through streets and squares to the Rialto, one of the most characteristic areas of Venice The last stop was in one of the oldest trattorias in the city, once the docking pier of a fifteenth century building that still boasts an ancient water gate and curious eighteenth-century frescoes on the walls depicting lagoon scenes.

Our collaboration with Banca Mediolanum dates back to June 2013, when we organized a series of interesting and entertaining cultural programmes for a different branch of the bank, following a very similar format: bespoke visits to art exhibitions followed by cocktails in local historical establishments and dinner in a typical restaurant in the city centre.
And that's not all! We have already prepared a full roster of new suggestions that will be proposed in the coming months!
