"Along the Silk Roads": infrastructure and technology to strengthen the ties between East and West

Conference

We organized "Along the Silk Roads" in the beautiful setting of Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice.

The conference was sponsored by the Port Authority together with the Foundation for World Wide Cooperation and Nankai University (Center for the Silk Road Studies) with the aim of encouraging investment between China and Europe, and to sign an agreement between the major ports of the new Silk Road - Venice and Tianjin and the two industrial and logistics areas of Porto Marghera and the Binhai new Area.

The Conference was attended by important representatives of the world of academia and politics: President Romano Prodi, the President of the Venice Port Authority, Paolo Costa, the Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni, the Minister of Infrastructure Graziano Delrio, the Austrian Minister of Transport Jörg Leichtfried, the Russian Minister for Eurasian Integration Tatiana Valovaya as well as representatives of different institutions and think-tanks from China, Asia and Europe.

Nexa coordinated all the services and oversaw all organizational activities. We organized the travel arrangements for the guests, served as organizing secretariat, managed budgets and contracts, coordinated hotel reservations and catering services, prepared the technical equipment, the staging, logistics, hostessing, organized gala evenings and the overall orchestration between organizers, participants, speakers, guests and suppliers.

The feedback we received was highly positive, with numerous testimonial letters, and we are happy to have contributed to the development of a project of international significance with our dedication to good organization and passion to expand our network of relationships.
We succeeded once again in achieving harmony between method and creativity.
