The launch of the Alitalia / Etihad direct flight from Venice to Abu Dhabi was celebrated with a sparkling, ultra glamorous event at the Gritti Palace Hotel - a Luxury Collection Hotel - and an icon of Venetian hospitality!
Once the home of the family of the Doge Andrea Gritti, the sixteenth-century palazzo overlooks the Grand Canal in the heart of one of the most scenic areas of the city.
The event was held in the historic rooms of the hotel and was attended by prominent personalities and the top management of the two companies, who illustrated the new agreement between the Italian national airline and Etihad Airways to the press and to the city authorities.
The setting was perfect, the ambiance very appealing and the food deliciously gourmet.
Everything was in its place and, as always, also thanks to Nexa's involvement in the organization and coordination of logistics, which, in a city like Venice, is an event in and of itself.
And on a dark night, with rain and wind and high water to complicate things, it becomes a real challenge.
Yet also this time we were able to keep on course! Happy landings!
