Private Event
Roger Thomas chose Venice for his 70th birthday party and we at Nexa offered our support for the organization of this special event.
The love of beauty, art, and culture was the protagonist of a private event organized to present guests with an authentic Venetian experience, an exceptional luncheon inside a Venetian Palazzo, among priceless works of art.
The extraordinary supervision of the "master of the house" and the meticulous division of responsibilities and tasks were the key to this successful event, from the invitations to the food, from the tablescape to the furnishings and floral decorations. The invitations, on precious cardboard made by a Venetian artisan, were hand calligraphed and mailed with an artistic stamp purchased in a philatelic shop.
Welcome drinks were served under the large porticos in the inner courtyard of the palazzo, then the guests went up to the main floor by way of the monumental staircase, exceptionally decorated with floral garlands in shades of light green and white. The food was prepared on site by the chef of the guest of honour's favourite Osteria, Oliva Nera, an establishment well known for its home-style cooking. The tablescape was designed in a colour combination of green, white and black which, together with the flower compositions, gave each table an original touch of elegance.
The particular challenge in organizing this special day was the venue for the event, a palazzo where we had to create all necessary service areas, including the large kitchen that the palazzo was not equipped with, while the beauty of the event was having such a wonderful client/partner as Roger Thomas, for which we feel deeply honoured.
