The CREDIT conference is an important annual event for economists from around the world working in the area of financial risk management.
The main objective of the conference is to give an opportunity to academics, researchers and professionals in the world of banking and finance to launch a global discussion on the causes and effects of the recent events in financial markets and the prospects and future research in this field of expertise.
Each year, more than 200 economists meet in Venice to participate in two days of intense work sessions.
Every year, a full program of discussions and poster sessions, culminating in the final round table which brings together representatives of the European Central Bank and the most important Banks, government ministers and professors and lecturers from major Universities around the world.
The theme of this year’s conference is the relation between financial risk on the one hand and pandemic, climate and disaster risk, on the other hand, with particular attention to the possible compounding of different sources of risk.
