Duvetica was born near Venice in 2004. The lagoon city has been the setting for the photo shoots of all the company's campaigns, year after year.So where else could they choose to celebrate their first 10-year anniversary,if not in Venice?
The Porta Nuova Tower in the Arsenale hosted to the largest multi-media event that literally "narrates" the history of the company: a selection of photographs by Alessandro Bencini, from the various advertising campaigns,was used in the installation created for the event, while many more photos have been collected in a commemorative book of nearly 500 pages, "Duvetica 10", presented during the evening and given to all guests.
But the Duvetica Venice connection does not end there. Last June, the company announced an agreement that will bring the Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the prestigious name that designed the concept of Duvetica flagship showrooms and stores, to renovate a historical warehouse on the Venetian mainland, which will be the future new corporate headquarters.
The special guest of the evening was Tony Humphries, pioneer, DJ and US House Music producer, recognized throughout the world as the "godfather" of New Jersey Sound.
Nexa also attended the glitzy event, with our hostesses and logistics experts, who accompanied the Duvetica guests from the historic center of Venice to the Arsenale, the extraordinary venue for the event.
